Better read it again. The statistics may be elementary but the assumptions involved in making said calculations are arbitrary. Suggest you look at Fig. 1 on page 3 for a starter. What is the value of p and why?

Do I have to put it in baby talk? The table clearly shows different values for Type II errors depending on the value of 'p'. What value of 'p' is realistic and why?
