In Reply to: What's with this "jj" stuff, anyhow. posted by Silver Eared John on October 28, 2005 at 13:40:15:
Please understand, everyone here wants to be accurate and responsible. We just don't want to stop learning what makes audio equipment better sounding. We don't want to 'gut' our electronics and use the cheapest possible stuff. We want to make equipment that will be remembered for decades as extraordinary. That is my goal, at least, and that of my colleagues. Your goal may differ.

And, since I do know who JJ is, I really have to take exception to your summary of what he's done.
I have the greatest respect for JJ, and I have told him what I just told you, years ago. Please don't think that I am so naive. I would prefer a respectful discourse with you, rather than mutual insults, but you just can't seem to leave it alone.

Well, y'all, that's my thinking.

> As far as I can see, the last thing this jj guy wrote was how to capture more soundfield information, not any sort of paddywhack about removing audio information.>> Respect? taking stuff away is respect?>
What about all your work with MPEG? Why is it called a "lossy" format, anyway, y'all? Because you're taking stuff away.
Oh yeah, I bet you forgot...
Is he lying about his real identity, Mike?

...he's not jj, he's lying.
Thanks Mike, I don't appreciate people trying to fool me into thinking they are someone else. I had the greatest respect for JJ (as a double-blinder), but I just did not agree with him as to how important it is to audio. I especially remember when I asked him how to make 'better' DB tests and he told me is was a company secret. As if we are supposed to know what to do with that?

Y'all have to nib into everyone's business?I won't reply to this Kuller guy, I think he's a bit over the edge.

...'over the edge". LOL!> I won't reply to this Kuller guy, I think he's a bit over the edge.>
Actually, I thank you for that - not replying. It says a lot.
No reply to the the DBT request for evidence. Looks like the debate is finally over.
No denial you're jj.
At least I post with my real name...and no silly buffoon accent.

I said I wasn't replying to your latest provocation.I have seen it, and y'all have all the proof you ever need about DBT's, and that you are just telling another whopper every time you say otherwise.
What was that about y'all saying that this jj guy wasn't a research scientist any more and that he might have been fired for some kind of malfeasance or misconduct?
Y'all able to provide some proof for that, Mr. Kuller, y'all able?
