Allan: Geoff, Clark, and I are all degreed physicists. Yes, we prefer hi fi to making nuclear bombs, etc, but physics is what we got our academic training in, and it gives us a baseline to converse in, and some ability to comprehend the math and strange concepts that make up modern physics.
Actually, most modern physics is often a lot 'stranger' than this chip, and knowing this, allows us to keep an open mind about it, rather than condemning the chip as something 'impossible', and therefore suspect.

But aren't you the least bit curious about what it is or how it works? Or do you just accept it all on faith?

...are trying to reverse engineer the chip. Doesn't that, at the least, imply extreme curiosity over how the chip works?

...all I've heard is bullshit. That, at the least, implies extreme ability to bullshit.Christ, Allan, who is a self confessed cross-dressing trout fisherman with no knowledge at all on the subject has done a hell of a lot more reverse engineering than the Larry, Curly and Moe of quantum marketing have. Or have you missed the thread?

...I wasn't comparing their abilities, nor their efforts, to anyone. I simply pointed out that their efforts to reverse engineer the GSIC indicates a serious interest in acquiring knowledge of "How does it work?"

I don't see that they're making any effort to reverse engineer anything. Hell, Curl (below) just admitted he doesn't even have one of these things. Geoff has admitted he doesn't care how it works, he just sells 'em. And Clark apparently limits his reverse engineering to rambling monologues.
Allan has access to the chips and the manufacturer, I don't. I can only guess and look over the shoulders of others.

J. Curl said in addressing Allan: "Allan: Geoff, Clark and I are trying ourselves to REVERSE ENGINEER the device."Now J. Curl Says: "Allan has access to the chips and the manufacturer, I don't. I can only guess and look over the shoulders of others."
I think it should be made clear that Allan has no more access to the chips and the manufacturer than J. Curl does. The difference between Allan and J. Curl is that Allan actually went out and did something constructive, while Curl has done nothing but spew uninformed conjecture and make baseless claims.
Secondly, how is it that J. Curl can lay claim to REVERSE ENGINEER(ing) the chip when he doesn't have one to reverse engineer? He hasn't seen the inside of one, and thinks the key to the whole process is superconductivity?! Oh, I forgot, he's a consultant, he doesn't have to know anything.
What a nice guy! ;-)
