Looking for a higher quaility alternative to the ART Cleanbox, and similar products.Need to run a consumer AM/FM tuner into the balanced analog inputs of a Behringer DEQ2496, which is being used as a digital EQ in a home system. Want to be able to bump up, adjust and optimize the tuner's signal for the Behringer's A/D converter.
I already have the ART, seems kind of noisy.

I'm using an SRC2496 for running my analog sources through before going to the DEQ2496. The SRC2496 has a level control which the DEQ2496 lacks on its analog input. You can link the SRC to the DEQ with an optical cable. I also run my CD player digital out as well as a Squeezebox digital out to the SRC optical and coaxial digital inputs. It's a pretty versatile box for $130^h^h^h $199 (I just checked the price and it has gone from $130 to $199 (still worth it though).

Yes, I thought about one of those, but really don't want to put another component in my digital chain. I'm already paranoid enough about whatever RFI and jitter the DEQ is adding.
Hooked the tuner up to the DEQ today with just adapter analog cables, and it outputted enough gain for me to decide to throw it back in the storage closet.
Think I'll stick with internet radio and cable Music Choice. :^) Thanks anyway.
Here is something that will work:
