It was not good.
The one I got, because you could adjust cpu voltage, GA-Z68XP-UD3P.
I did not realize when I ordered that its only video output was HDMI. This started off working OK until I tried to install the MB drivers. These could not be installed without ALSO installing .NET Framework which I did not want but without the MB drivers it would not see JULI@ in the PA slot.
It would not allow WINDOWS to be loaded from an nLite disk.
None of the BIOS setting would allow what we can get with the 1156 board recommended by cics.
All in all, very disappointing.
Now I fear that this is how it is for all of the x68 equipped boards.
On its way back to NEWEGG. And the search continues.

Imho we need to use Gigabyte GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3. It's bios is fully compliant with cMP2.

it was fun while it lasted.
I got a feeling it is the same as what I had. You can only lower the voltage to 0.85. CPU Clock Ratio - nowhere close to the recommended for the previous board. Anything that could be adjusted could not be brought down to what we have used before.
It looks like it has the same under-running abilities but it does not.
Unless you have one! And that would change everything. If you have no used one I do think it is the same BIOS as what I had.
Committed to my JULI@ set-up, can't make a change even if it was "good".
THANKS for the advice!
