Now $100 in the Pi world only gets you the audio board. :)
Follow Ups:
Much cheaper than a urendu for $700... which is just another board.Complete System in the Pi World -- $135

I spent only $26 on the base Digi+.
I've got an Allo on order, too. Why not for that cheap? Since it is a standard HAT board, I plan to use same case and remove the covering layers to the left side where the BNC connector lives.
Thank you.................!
Again. :)
I would like to hear your opinion of the Allo Digione Rpi vs, the uRendu.
Cut-Throat
now who could those be (???), I do plan a comparison between the two.
While I don't use either the LPS-1 or ethernet in the garage setting, I'll level the playing field by using both with the RPi. I'll do extended listening evaluations since I'm not going to be constantly changing the power supply voltage back and forth and will be using the same BNC input on the DAC8 this time.
I suspect the gap is closing.
But at the same time, in would be a reasonable comparison to make, what with the LPS-1 having a 5V output as well as 7.5V.
I have a $1.50 BNC jack to solder to my Digi+ Pro and can enlarge to hole in my Pi case to accommodate it but...
Would like to know if the DigiOne is a step up and a step closer to the uRendu.
I do know, having heard my Pi with the LPS-1 at another audiophile (dare we use that term?) system and can say that it takes the Pi up a step compared to the Jameco $12.50 LPS, even with a Canare cable.
