I'm still learning Tidal but I was able to create a Playlist and offline it. The tracks download to my iPad via Wifi at home. Once I'm on the road I'll have a couple dozen hours of music to play w/o consuming against a cellular data plan or Wifi. I plan to listen on my flight. Still experimenting. Fun stuff!
Tidal offline music & Sennheiser Momentum 2 headphones
I got an email from them today about that feature. Does the content magically go poof! once you've listened to it - like a rented iTunes movie?
The files that are downloaded to your device don't go "poof" after listening one time but my question would be, how long do they remain playable.
Some streaming services that offer offline listening capability give you a time window like 30-days before you need to "reconnect" to the service.
I don't know how Tidal handles this. I'd like to find out.
So glad you are enjoying Tidal. I have been with them from the beginning and they have taken over my musical life
