Just got my I2S kit from Audiogd....I don't think it requires soldering, looks plug and play. But I think it might need some work to separate and get pins to connect it to the RPi GPIO pins.

Follow Ups:
Would have thought one would have been all it took?
Audi GD site shows the HDMI kit with two boards, one as 'input' the other 'output'?
OTOH, the RJ-45 kit is quite simple?
What would be the huge difference?
Yep two boards, just in case you need the input board.
I have the RJ45 kit too, it would work but the only thing is the cable needs to be short.

I have the HDMI input for I2S on my Master-7.
Only one HDMI socket.
Looks like BOTH boards have a socket. Both HDMI?
Yet the boards look different?
Just guessing.
The output and input boards might need something different with the design to send and receive I2S.

I have the RJ45 input for I2S on the Master 11 DAC/Headphone Amp in the living room and THAT'S where I use the R-Pi.
Somewhere I have the RJ45 pinout for the Master-11 so with the schematic of either the R-Pi and/or HiFiBerry card it should be doable?
Maybe just a RaspberryPi in a box as the I2S is on the R-Pi board?
The Digi+ Pro board as easy to access I2S solder points on the board.
My Master 7 has the RJ45 too, so I ordered the HDMI input card to place the RJ45, according to Audiogd that supposed to be plug and play.
The Digi+ Pro part might need some soldering though.
