Supposed to be coming soon:
The iGalavnic3.0 is the one-stop USB audio enhancement solution for every computer audiophile. It offers the USB Trinity of:
Audiophile-grade galvanic isolation
Clean USB power supply*.
*Measured noise is 0.5uV(0.0000005V) @ 500mA load. Outclasses non-iFi USB devices. Bettered only by the micro iUSB3.0.
Wow....thats a whole bunch of zero's!!!
Well, imo iFi needs to stop playing around with peripherals and jump into the game with both feet. Put all this high tech into a ARM board.

Have you got a link to this device? I cannot find any product with this name being offered by ifi dealers in the UK. Perhaps it goes under another title here?

"The next iFi Audio new product launch - The Holy Grail of Audio"
can these be daisy chained to get double/triple/quadruple galvanic isolation ?
How about a dozen!!!!
Maybe add a couple of Regen's too.
There is an obsession amongst some PC based users about the word galvanic above other aspects of signal transfer and coupling. Perhaps this is due to the poor signal quality from many computers.
Some of the techniques and hardware used can actually increase jitter and distortion, and there is no other practice that is better than careful connection of system components and avoidance of ground loops and current.
Against this, there is almost no recognition here of 44.1 and 48k related clock multiples on SQ in usb and aes audio transmissions.
Heck, we even have long discussions of RPi quality based on lower quality dac chips, clocks and transmission hardware, against well put together high quality audio devices. This is even from inmates who have repeatedly claimed that they have 'optimised' their complex systems for audio replay.
Yes buzz words abound in audio.
I think the industry can actually do a lot better but are dancing around addressing the real problem so that they can sell peripherals. Why make a better mouse trap when I can sell you all sorts of mouse bate, voodoo magic dust, super alloy springs and replacement wood bases.
Can't blame them I guess, the first priority of business is to make money. Apply P.T. Barnum's rule..."There's a sucker born every minute". And we have a full fledged Audiophile Industry!
Is that measured noise over the audio band? In other words with the test equipment filter limited up to 20KHz? I recall iFi citing something like that in one of their ads. Reputable powers supply specs are based on measurements with a bandwidth upwards of 20MHz, not 20KHz audio band. ;-)
I would also recommend the Intona galvonic isolater. It does the same things. Really improved the sound of my system
I am a fan of iFi, but I have become disappointed in the way they are marketing products, and how many they are spitting out, which to me smacks of "buzz word" phishing. It is like someone at the company subscribes to google search words, and develops products based on that. Also, there impressive sounding pseudo scientific claims are wearing thin.
Too many of the products are way too similar.
Whats 'not' to like?
They all have the "i" in the name...if Apple uses it, then it must be good.
Besides marketing is all about buzz words....Shiiit anyone?
