Steve, I just read your review of the e32 DAC that was published at Audiostream in February. Nice review! I do have a couple questions for you about their DACs.Since exaSound provides their own drivers for Mac OS even though Mac OS (like Linux) has it's own class 2 USB drivers, do you know if their DACs are compatible over USB with many of the popular network streamers on the market?
Most of these streamers are Linux based (microRendu for example), and most do not allow the end-user to install their own apps or drivers. So the question is, how well do these exaSound DACs perform (if at all) via USB on these Linux based streamers?
Have you had an opportunity to test? Thanks!

Thanks Abe.exaSound has not shared its custom Linux drivers with Sonore or SOtM so it doesn't work with the microRendu or sMS-200. I had a friend who has a SonicTransporter and microRendu and was interested in the exaSound. He was very disappointed.
I recently turned in my review of the SOtM sMS-200. Lots of comparisons in this review.

Thanks for the response Steve. I saw your post at Audiostream as well. Looking forward to your review of the SOtM sMS-200. ...Abe
