Yes, it is a layered acrylic case from Zebra. It was a bit of a puzzle to assemble. Each layer was protected on both sides by film, so I had to remove them first. Then insert board, stack each layer and screw together.

Is, I was trying to understand why they used layers, instead of 6 sides for the case.... I also have an acrylic case that just has the 6 sides.
Yeah I think its all about fabrication and has nothing to do with magical audiophile properties.
Of course it might be some sort of harmonic resonance cancellation and tuning due to layering. The layers could also scatter and deflect any EMI/RFI.....Hmmmmmm, Nah.
