Link is below.Your tech will need to navigate directories in El Capitan and copy files or an entire directory from El Capitan to macOS Sierra. Backup the macOS Sierra directory/files first to a safe place before proceeding in case you need to revert back.
Your tech may also need to disable Apple's System Integrity Protection (SIP) and/or be familiar with sudo and your password from within the Terminal.
