When I got the MircoRenu I reckoned that it was so light that it actually got whacked out of place easily with a moderately stiff USB cable like the AQ Carbon. When I added the UltraCap LPS-1 I figured it could stabilize everything if I put it on top, with the MircoRenu sandwiched between some Cardas Myrtle blocks ( as shown in pic). Seems like that fails to keep everything aligned. I'm very happy with the sonics with this arrangement. I just wonder if there's a better way to position the MicroRenu and the LPS-1 without degrading the sonics, or better still, to enhance them.
Thank you in advance

Pic, not so good. But I used a combination of Herbie's audio lab baby booties and grungebuster dots. These worked well with the 3 way combo of LPS-1, microRendu and F-1 box. The F-1 box, (hidden a bit by the AppleTV), was a "project box" that i installed the F-1 board in. Now, their F-1 IF is available as a complete box + board package. It was more challenging to level the F-1 with the microRendu due to the Sonore Addapteur, - even worse if one uses the stock USB adapter.

A minimalist approach might be of benefit. Perhaps consider a set of four pea-sized bits of Blu Tack (or any other poster tack) affixed between the bottom of the larger UltraCap LPS-1 and the rack shelf surface, and another set of four bits of Blu Tack affixed between the bottom of the smaller mRendu stacked on top of the UltraCap LPS-1.
If there's enough room on your rack shelf for a 6-inch wide laminated bamboo board, a set of four Herbie's Audio Lab Baby Bootie or Big Baby Bootie footers with optional adhesive backing affixed under the bamboo board should be an effective vibration control platform to position between the stack of small components and the rack shelf surface.

I use a tablet stand. I also have a plastic stand that belonged to my wife. I have no idea where she got it.
The stand shown below in black is made by Anker. Available on Amazon. Some models & brands have wider openings than others. Mine is too narrow for the mRendu to fit inside but it still supports it nicely. The angle is also adjustable.
