what bit depth were you using? 16 or 24? Did you match is with your DAC?

I got it to work. I think the issue was that I had cplay running at the same time.
Asio can do that but usually you are lockout in the program. Here you seem to just get static.
Thanks.

The driver for a sound card determines what happens when ASIO and the Windows stack try to play at the same time. I used to believe that when one application was using a device via ASIO that all other access was locked out, but this proved not to be the case, at least with the 64 bit Juli@ driver. Instead there is mixing and (I believe) sample rate conversion by Windows if it is using a different sample rate than ASIO. With my Mytek Stereo192-DSD DAC there are more complex possibilities, e.g. ASIO can be running the DAC in DSD mode while Windows is trying to run it in PCM. I have no idea what is going on with these drivers, nor do I really care. I just take care not to run both of them at the same time.

Hey Jeff
Iirc it was set for 32 bit
Jriver gave a message that it should be set for 24. So I said ok and it set it to 24
All kinds of static and clicks. Not your normal dropouts, didn't sound like music
Reset and same thing
What could be the issue??
