Hi Zoran,
What is the problem ?
Can you please explain more detailed.
I´ve used Allocator with cMP2 for years and it runs absolutely perfect.
Please describe your hardware too.
kind regards

Hello,
I am new here, not sure I drop the question in the right place.
I have a question about Allocator and Cics player as VST host.
Everything is working fine exept for one thing.
With a restart of Cics player the last frequency settings change as if the frequency gang in Allocator is on.
In the folder Cplay the Allocator file does show the right frequencys and the frequency gang is off.
This occurs in Windows XP Pro SP2 and Windows 7
I don’t know how to solve this, can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.
Jeroen.
I’ll try to upload an image.
Hey Jeroen,
I´ve used Allocator for some years in cMP², but I´m not sure I understand your question ?
What do you mean by "gang" ?
Are you using saved presets ?
Try to explain a bit further.
kind regards

Hello Play-Mate.
Thanks for Your response.
This is how Thuneau describes “gang”.
“Gang Freqs ” This switch when in active “state” gangs together the frequency values of all filters in the section.
By activating this switch I found out that the frequencies in all sections get the same value.
In the folder Cplay there is a (hidden) Allocator file. I found out by using the diagnostics in the CPlay settings. I guess this is where the last settings are stored.
You can open this file in notepad.
In the screenshot You can see the frequencies for High for the high pass filter. Also You can see if a section is active.
The values are from left to right . First section 1493Hz and active. Second section 3706Hz and active. Third section 500Hz not active Fourth section 500Hz not active.
It also shows that the “Gang freqs” switch is off.
For all that, with a restart of Cplay the frequencies of all sections get the same value, 500 Hz. As if the “gang freqs” switch is on. Not good for a tweeter.
This happens as well using saved presets or non preset filters( Dial in a filter, close Cplay and restart).
I can use Cplay and after a restart load a saved preset filter, it will work fine again.
I hope this explanation helps.
Kind regards.
Jeroen.
I din`t yet install Allocator, but on the Thuneau forum there is a guy who installed CMP with Allocator and announce there is a small bug that every time he changes the album he have to reinstall again Allocator.
