In Reply to: RE: What is the function of V3 (CCS tube) in Silver Edition MK3.3 posted by Ralph on September 11, 2023 at 08:55:48
Do I understand the drivers in the MK 3.3 correctively, in old model terms?
MA-1: first three 6SN7s are V1, 4th 6SN7 is V2, and 5th 6SN7 is V4 the driver.
M-60: first two 6SN7s are V1, 3rd 6SN7 is V2, and 4th 6SN7 is V4 the driver.
S30: first 6SN7 is V1, 2nd 6SN7 is V2, and 3rd 6SN7 is the driver. There was never a CCS tube in S30.
Follow Ups:
The S-30 now has a solid state CCS.
The middle tube in the rear of the newer M-60s is V2.
