This is the only Weingartner Eroica I can find. Looks like a budget label, anyone know about it?

I have a couple of those (including furtwangler's 1942 beethoven's Ninth). What great pricing! There're lots more in the CD shops but I've been telling myself to reduce my purchasing of mono stuff..still the attraction is strong...You will not go wrong IMHO.
the weingartner beethoven cycle has recently been available on pearl...the classic d'oro is a budget label which probably dupes previous remasterings & thus the quality will depend on what they're using as their master...haven't heard their weingartner eroica but have a couple others that aren't bad...for the money it's not much of a risk...btw...they also have furtwangler's beethoven 9, bruckner 9 & tchaikovsy 6!
