"Kerouac" is out of print, but some of the songs are on the "Stolen Moments" collection. Maybe you won't like him, but give it a shot.In my opinion, Murphy is authentically cool while Elling is consciously being cool. And Murphy CAN be quite funny when "singing" some of the prose from Kerouac or Lord Buckley.
