. . . you posted the same message (word for word) on the vinyl forum. Theoretically, cross-posting like this is not allowed on AA, and I wonder if you'd mind doing some edits to your post on this forum so that it's not exactly the same as the one in the vinyl forum? Thanks!

Why is it not allowed? It's the same person. What difference could it possibly make to anyone? What harm could it do? C'mon Chris, is this even worth bringing to light?
When I want to alert the folks on two different boards to the same information, I'll post on one board and then, on the other board, post a link to my original post with a short explanation as to what it is. Not so hard really.
No, not hard but sort of senseless. Why is it a rule to begin with? If I want to post a classical vinyl record on the Vinyl and Classical sites, what damage is being done? Who is it hurting?
. . . some problem with cross posting in the past, so they just decided to put an end to it. But as I say, that's just a guess.
Maybe it's new era and we should try again and allow cross posting or sample inmates somehow. This was the first time for me and I thought members of both forums could enjoy the music.
