Listened to the entire concert this evening. This is very good, if anyone didn't know here is a fun fact, Ravi Shankar was the father of Nora Jones of Jazz fame.
He has another daughter who also took on Classical Indian instruments in the spirit of her father.
I have been reading a lot about the archive process of thousands of hours of Indian classical music from around the 60s so this all won't be lost. Probably lots more to come.
I agree a great piece of music.
I saw Shankar and group open for George Harrison at two concerts in Boston back in the 70's a fantastic group of musicians.
