Beautiful! I never get tired of seeing the SF skyline, that new building is so tall though!
they looked so out of place in London, mixed in with the traditional architecture.
There are a bunch of them at the SF side of the Bay Bridge, just waiting to fall onto the bridge and freeway.
You know, when the time comes for the Big One.
I saw San Andreas.
They will fall, but in Slow Motion.
I guess we shall see.
Back around 2001, when I used to work in SF, somebody estimated that if an earthquake knocked out all the glass in the buildings in the Financial District, the broken glass would be eight-feet high down at street level. Maybe that was just one of those urban legends. But as I say, I guess we shall see.
They just fall over.
How about that Millennium Tower?
A really bad earthquake would destroy the Bay Area Economy for years, not to mention LA.
Then we'll see if the Codes work!
I think the Glass Buildings are making everywhere look the same,
no more Regional Architecture.
Some Earthquakes in Turkey have lasted for Minutes, not the 20 second Loma Prieta.
OK, now I'm getting upset.
Thanks a LOT, Chris!
