Maybe you get the same broadcast on your radio station. I know some folks around here could use some of that love potion. ;-)
Follow Ups:
.
"Life without music is a mistake" (Nietzsche)
. . . the steam coming out of the ears of some folks here who see misogyny under every rock or around every street corner. Or who claim that they'll be ignoring future "misogynist" posts and who yet never seem to be able to restrain themselves from commenting on them.
Of who can be the Stockhausen or Xenakis of this board? I thought you were in the harmony camp! Anyone who posts +1 nt to one of my typically thoughtful yet entertaining comments, a Richard Wagner comment no less (exceedingly rare for me) is obviously a person of refined taste discernment.
And as I mentioned to you long ago, moderator-master Chris, if you keep "pushing peoples' buttons", as you put it, those people are going to retaliate from time to time. I say you should just absorb that retaliation silently and move on, or at least not respond in kind.
BTW, thanks for your academician post. The writers you cite are not people I have any interest in reading up on. If they are dogmatic bozos, so be it. I had an early music specialist professor like that. I guess some academicians and HIP musicians feel they need to take a very rigid hard line to justify their academic existence, but not the best of them, imho.
hmmmm ---- very Severius! -ish
Severius! Supremus Invictus

Yes, a little "L'elisir d'amore", ahem, goes a long way as they say. ; )
