I think I've got the new one, because it's remastered with Abbey Road Technology. It sounds rather good, though the orchestra is a little thin, but I think it's like Dr. T said, probably the best opera recording ever.By the way, I just found out, checking the remastering, it was conducted by Victor de Sabata, it's 'Norma' that was conducted by Serafin.:-)
I need to check before I recommend in the blind....
Thanks. I may purchase this reissued CD reissue. Then again I may not. Maybe I'll wait for the DVD, DAD, whatever reissue, I'm pretty sure they'll keep reissuing it.
