  Sorry avout the slow response, been kind of busy. The Antec fan is indeed a 12-volt unit but the amp controls the fan by, you guessed it, variable voltage. I've had the fan installed for many weeks now and the amp temp has never risen to the point at which the fan circuit would switch the fan to high speed (full 24v). So far, the fan has kept whirring along at the fan's lowest speed setting without a comlaint from the amp at all.

    if I understand well you mean that the amp sources 12V when the temperature inside is low and switch to 24V when the temperature raises ?
