After 16 years of Maggies I bought a house with no appropriate space for them. Four years later I have a great house with plenty of room and I bought some 1.7s with Myestands. There is nothing threaded into the bottom and I want footers or spikes. Can someone tell me the correct threading for Myestand footers/spikes? I appreciate any resonses! Don

Thanks, gentlemen. This is just what I needed. I love the stands and think the bass is tighter than my old 1.6s. After further review I think I just need to put something underneath that allows me to slide the whole contraption back and forth. The grandkids sure like running full tilt boogie in my mancave/basement

For ease of movement, you can try Magic Sliders (particularly on carpet) or threaded stem casters on a hard floor (Robert Brooke is a good example).

Great on carpet with the wonderful Mye stands on my MGIII's.

I have a pair of 3.6s and wanted to use Critical Mass System's speaker feet with Mye stands. The feet look somewhat like small hockey pucks.
Unfortunately, using threaded inserts, the tops of the CMS feet didn't make good contact with the bottom of the Mye stands due to the welding bumps around their threaded inserts. Tight contact is a requirement for the CMS feet.
If the tops and bottoms of the feet you'll be using are flat, ditch the threaded inserts and just put the Mye stands base directly on the tops of the feet.
Worked for me. Just be careful if you try to move the speakers!
If they are very old stands, they could be 1/4NC, but unlikely.
The majority of stands by far will be 5/16NC.
If they are stealth or on special request, they could be 1/2NC.
Lastly, some customers over the years have requested special threads. Which almost adds up as the units you have came with nothing...
Best bet would be to head to your local hardware store and buy a 5/16NC bolt, check it fits. Or if you have the original buyers name, email me and I should be able to tell you the correct fitment.
