It's only visually imbalanced since line sources have little vertical dispersion once they are long enough which the tweeters are. So all the drivers have essentially the same vertical dispersion which is all that matters.

I'm accustomed to a proper floor to ceiling full range line source.
Many live instruments are not a floor to ceiling line source and they sound pretty realistic.

There's no chopping signal delivery into frequency specific directivity patterns as you find in this case. Most instruments span the 1.6k crossover of the DP140 from fundamental to harmonics.
The objective of a line source is to minimize the effect of the room while typically playing many of them. :)
