  Davey -

  I recently heard the ML line from entry level to the high end excluding perhaps a flagship model.

  I found the sound to be horrid - and the particular reason why is that I felt that the woofer unit and the electrostatic unit sounded extremely disjointed and for lack of a better word -disengaged from reality

  its my belief that the sound labs are an extremely better design

    You seem to be as dense and incapable of comprehension as E-Stat. That's quite an accomplishment.

    I well understand the trade-offs of the Martin-Logan approach. It's very straightforward to understand.

      what you underestimate is how good E-Stat system actually sounds - its in another world from ML

        I'm not underestimating anything. I made no declarative statements regarding ML's nor Sound-Lab's. And certainly no statements regarding any relative subjective differences.
        
        They are simply two different approaches with differing trade-offs.
        
        If you can't grasp that basic premise I'm not sure what to tell you. If you view that as confrontational, then it's you being the instigator, not me.
        At this point, it should be obvious you're on Rod's radar screen. If you want to continue, go ahead, but you might find yet more of your postings deleted. It's up to you.
