As Grant stated, designed for stable Planar and ESL loads starting back in the Innersound days a couple of decades ago.Lifetime warranty to original owner.
Fully regulated PS.
40 Mosfets/chassis.
High current.
Stereo: 900 WPC/4 Ohms.
Monoblock: 2000 WPC/4 Ohms.Read his white papers for more design details.
I believe they are CODA based amps with Sanders design (linear voltage regulator) upgrades.

Their sound is not what people buy them for. They do sound good, but so do dozens of other amps. The reasons are 2-fold. They offer plenty of power and electrostatics and panel speakers have very low sensitivity so need lots of watts. Secondly, these types of speaker don't conform with the usual nominal 4 or 8 or 15 ohms as other speakers do. They drop to very low impendence at certain frequencies and this could lead to damage in amplifiers not designed for very low impedance. So Mr Sanders, who builds electrostatic speakers designed (or had designed) his own amp that satisfies both these requirements.
I bought a Magtech 3 years ago to power my Martin Logan Expression 13As, but I found that my GamuT D200 Mk III sounded marginally better and it too was happy with low impedance speakers. Sadly the MLs sounded poor in my room, despite Anthem room correction. This was entirely down to the wall behind the speakers being 12 ft behind one and 15 ft behind the other. I had to sell the MLs and the Magtech and keep my trusty 17 year old Avantgarde horns that were happy mid-room

I know nothing about Magtech either but I must admit I'm always a little hesitant about amplifiers with that type of power output. How refine are they for Maggie's? Are just about the brute force capability or do they allow the listener to hear all the refined nuances in a recoding? Not judging just asking the question. I would go with the VTL as they are very musical amps.
FWIW, I have a Mark Levinson #336, a Magtech, a Roland Model 10 and a W4S 1000ASP IcePower based amp.
The Magtech sounds and performs closest to the Mark Levinson #336 without the heat and 1/3rd the weight of ML.
People say the CODA amps sound like PassLabs amps.

People say the CODA amps sound like PassLabs amps.
Formed by ex-Threshold guys.
I have not heard the PassLabs amps so can't comment on them.
The ML and MagTech are neutral and controlled.
ML has been criticized for not being colored.
