Return to Planar Speaker Asylum
180.249.184.88
I noticed that MUG's page for Magnepan speaker specification would need an update.
Models such as LRS, .7, 30.7 and "i" versions are missing.
Could someone in charge please make this update? Who is he?
Could someone please contact him?
If he needs some info relative to the models, perhaps we can help him out here.
Follow Ups:
The hostname for the "MUG" site is now integracoustics.com
The Name Servers are;
Name Server: NS1.AUDIOASYLUM.COM
Name Server: NS2.AUDIOASYLUM.COM
It would appear the MUG site has been absorbed by AA.
If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.
Planar forum used to be monitored by moderator Mart, nowadays mostly by the AA mods. Mart owns MUG AFAIK. Contact Rod, see if he knows if anyone operates it.
I sent an alert message to Rod.
Let's see what he says...

who's been monitoring this forum since Mart's brother stepped down.
Since we're relatively civil around here he hasn't had much interaction.
I'm not sure if he's willing or has the time to update the charts.
That's why in my original post I suggested that we do the ground work for the missing speakers.
For each missing speaker we could prepare the entries to put in the MUG chart.
MUG was Marts, not connected to planar or AA, pretty sure.
This is from last January .
Pretty sure MUG has nothing to do with planar or AA
and stuff in there I contributed over 20 yrs ago..amazing.
I guess the links at the top of the Planar asylum kind of gives the impression they're all Rods, but yeah I remember Mart running that for a while.
I think MUG was 100% his, maybe still sort of is. If the monthly hosting fees are being paid from a CC, who knows. Maybe Rod knows...
I think there are quite a few faults in the specifications of Magnepan speakers. At some period there were changes without re-naming the models, like early Tympanis.
