I just set up my new Magna Risers for my 3.3 Maggies. What a difference! It is as if I have a new system. Deeper soundstage, more clarity to the imaging, crisper highs, clearer midrange and a more solid, punchy bass. Highly recommended.

Follow Ups:
I see that Rob has a number of new designs since I ordered my Risers some years ago.
I am using the Ascension Series 3. This model was recommended by Robert at Magna Riser after I described to him my listening room and my equipment.

I'll take a close look at Robert's website. He does have quite a few models these days. :)
You have a Rabco TT? I thought they went extinct long ago! Does it work?
Do you have someone who can service it when needed? I never understood
why straight line tracking did not catch on, as it eliminates a lot of
distortion and groove shaving. Oh well ...
I've got magna risers on order for my LRS and am waiting patiently for
delivery. Good to know they work well for you.
Whether or not you can observe a thing depends upon the theory you use. It is the theory which decides what can be observed. - Albert Einstein
I have them on the LRS's. Totally transforms the speakers.
Not sure why Magneplanar company wants to tilt their products. Smears the sound.
Used to build my own stuff but in a small place now.
You will love the stands.
I am on commercial tile so I added some little rubber bumpers on bottom so they wouldn't rock back and forth on tile.
Thought about Sorbathana but think that would detract from dynamics.
How many inches do these stands raise the speakers from the factory stands? Can the rise be adjusted on these stands? I am considering them for my 1.6's but there is WAF to contend with.
They raise the speakers 4" inches off the floor. Not adjustable.
Stands make a HUGE difference in sound and clarity.
Isn't it the height of your ears that counts, and not your speakers? Raising the speakers is mostly the same as lowering your ears. I seem to have learned that > 50 years ago.
So what is the optimum ear height to the speakers? Mine are just about halfway up from the bottom of the 1.6's.
Project a laser beam at a 90 degree angle from dead centre of the tweeter at your listening seat, the laser beam should hit your ear's height. Maggie's don't sound better vertical as opposed to tilted, or vica-versa, it all come's down to dialing in your chair + Maggie's to achieve this. A higher sit might require some tilt, where as a lower sit would be fine with a vertical stance.
In the real world, there is a large margin before you start to notice you're out of the "sweet spot", but if you're anal about set-up, this is the way to go.
"Mine are just about halfway up from the bottom of the 1.6's"
In this situation, with the Maggies vertical, you're a bit off, the tweeters centre is slightly above the middle of the 1.6's.
You nailed it!
has the bottom of the panels on the floor - so no 'lift' whatsoever.
But if WAF is key for you ... you might like to consider "Magnastand'ing" your 1.6s. See the new web-site:

Her reaction - NO! he likes the simple factory looks. But I am looking for improved stability from front to back rocking.
4 inches on my LRS.
No adjustment.
Maggies need to be vertical. No smearing of sound.
Thanks. 4 inches is too high for WAF compliance!
Perhaps the question I should ask is there a stand other than Mye that's more stable than the factory and does not raise the speakers?
I do indeed have a Rabco turntable. It has been fully restored by Turntable Restoration. It is a thing of great beauty, and with its Audio Technica OC9 XSH moving coil cartridge it sounds better than my Rega P6. Forty-five years ago I owned an earlier iteration of the Rabco linear tracking tables, an ST-7. I loved that table and, when it finally died, I vowed one day to own another.
When I show the ST-8 to others, they can hardly believe such a thing exists!
I know: why did not linear tracking take off? Who knows? They are still around, though quite rare. Most audiophiles today have never seen or heard one.
You will enjoy your Magna Risers. They are the best upgrade I have doneāand I have done many!
