In the words of the Infamous Dr Frankenstein...It Is Alive!!! Sounds great, no more Midrange Buzzing! Thanks for all of the advice and support. Otherwise for anyone on the fence regarding fixing the coils of their Maggies,Just do it, not hard at all just take your time and lots of pictures or notes so that you can reference them. Once again thanks everyone for the help.
Glad to hear it's all sorted now! That's really great. Yeah, it's not too difficult to repair if you are careful and take photos. When I first did it I thought I'd mess something up but it went just fine too.
I broke a ribbon tweeter once but that was just due to a speaker falling over. I found putting a new ribbon into the tweeter cage a nightmare! Much more difficult than a delam repair. Here in Europe we have no option to do the tweeter cage part exchange deal Magnepan offer in the US!
