I envy you. You sound very confident and handy. I am not. I sent my 3.6s to Magnepan and they reworked them to new condition but was not cheap. Can you take before and after pictures? Can you generate a before and after frequency sweep for both with the speakers in the center of a room, mic at middle heigth, width of panel and 36 inches from panel?
I don't have any measuring equipment, but I will take some pictures and post them. If I screw them up than I'll just send them in to get repaired, but between Covid issues and the price of repair I'll give it a shot, I've rebuilt engines on my bikes and stripped my '82 down to the frame and rebuilt it so I think I can handle some glue lol. Just needed to know what the adhesive of choice was lately.
Looking forward to some pictures for sure. Wishing you lots of luck. How is the mylar? Any wrinkles at all?
I haven't opened the speaker up yet, wont have a chance to until after the wknd. Hopefully just need to re-glue some of the wire,Midrange sounds fine Except during certain parts of some songs.
