both with Wayne PK panels and some tweaks
I still use Martin Logan Summits along side of Tympani 4 bass panels,
and Rotary Subwoofer!!!!
This combo provides fantastic bass and a huge soundstage.
Acoustat 8800 I built a couple of years ago. Just added the JVC clone planar tweeters in dipole configuration with 22 front, 11 rear, at 10Khz using passive 6db/octave crossover and they sound great.
I also have
Apogee Divas
Scintillas
Duettas
I will get around to rebuiding the Apogees this winter, but I've said that for the last two years ;^).

I had 4 x 10" sealed box subs with the MG3.6's, using a Behringer DCX2496 to cross over at 45 Hz, but I retired those and now just use the triamped MG3.6'sThe bass is quite nice without the subs but I can sometimes push the 3.6's hard enough to slap the magnets, so I bought another DEQX and plan to build Rhythmik open baffle servo subs to spare the 3.6's lowest octave duty.
==================================
UPDATE I have the OB subs now and I **LOVE** them, they blend with the MG 3.6's very well.
The Quad ESL 57's have Quads Unlimited rebuilt tweeters and I will be getting Quads Unlimited woofer panels soon as I save up a little dough.FYI I also have PLANAR HEADPHONES - Stax lambda pro signature, Stax SR-007 mkI, Koss ESP 950 with Stax cabling, and a pair of HiFiMan HE-6's. They all sound different, and they all sound good- and I use them each at different times. I used to have a pair of Audeze LCD-2's, but I sold those.

Left out my Wright modded Oppo, and Naim 2A3X out of the mix, but there'er great performers. This combination works quite synergistically,

I have Quad ESL-63 USA Monitors and Quad ESLs(57s)both restored by Electrostatic Solutions.
They are both fantastic speakers! Love'em!
plus a Hartley 24" dipole subwoofer with active/passive crossover.
Currently Magnepan 1.7is. Have had smgas and mmgs.

Do you still have all these? In various systems, or do you swap them in and out?
In truth, the MC1s are still on order. The U-1s remain in the main system and the Maggies will be used as surrounds with the 1+1s when the family room/kitchen remodeling project is finished. I also have a MGC center, but that will be retired.
The new space will be far larger and more open than the previous arrangement. As the wall that previously separated the family room from the kitchen is gone (as are two others), the system will be flipped to the opposite wall. I'll be able to place some of the gear in a hidden closet to the right and all cables will be hidden using chases in wall and floor. And I get a dedicated 20A line. Pics of current system and previous HT available in my gallery. Here's the new space so far:
Wow what an amazing space!!

Acoustat 2+2
Infinity RS4.5
Again, how many of these do you still now? And is there a separate system for each?
Nice! I had a pair years ago and the guy who has them now still has them

I guess, I'll be the one loony person in the entire planar universe to admit I'm quite fond of my 1.7 Maggies in my main system...and my MGI Imp in my TV system, and my MMG's in the bedroom.

They cats chase them up the stairs sometime.

those are beautiful frames for your 57's. Are the frames completely redone?

I bought those from Kent at Electrostatic solutions.
I bought them for cosmetics but was shocked how much the sound was improved. More dynamics, tighter image.

for someone who quotes Doug Sax on the importance of bass! ;^)
But the few times I've heard 57s they produced good bass, just not very extended.
Also interesting that you called for planar owners, who may be mainly those with Maggies, and so far only Quad electrostatic owners replied.
My own choice is Janszen, but they are hybrids.

I've filled in the bottom 2 octaves with 5 subs spread around the room and carefully balanced in. They are not louder individually but integrate together very nicely.
What can I say, except I like bass as in bass guitar, stand up bass, pipe organ, moving air - all the fundamentals.

Story, that sounds similar to the Swarm (distributed bass system) offered by Audio Kinesis among others. I've seen several positive reports on that. I can imagine it works very nicely with Quads covering above mid bass.
I've used a standard of clean bass down to 42 Hz to cover the string bass. That misses the reaches of a pipe organ and a small number of other instruments but then not much music is written for the lowest notes. except maybe electronic.

Got any naked pictures of Janszens.
They seem to be pretty tight lipped and fully clothed.
Here is what the electrostatic section looks like. Like older models, it uses a pair of angled panels:

Thanks for the video and image.
Boxed stats with cabinet stuffing and @ 500Hz XO.
It appears the DIY symmetric electronically segmented builds are crossing over @ [200-250]Hz, an octave lower in comparison.
Nope. Grill cloth is not removable without damaging. So yes, tight lipped.
The closest I could suggest would be diagrams of the screens on their website.

I found some images of their older models. Looks like they use multi-panel designs.
emailtim's top photo is a JansZen Z600, the first real speakers I bought, back in 1968.
They were great, until one of the electrostatic tweeters gave out and I sold them to buy Dynaco A25's.
At the time, G. Holt thought highly of the JansZens, and I read somewhere that Jim Winey had a pair of these when he was designing the first Magnepans.
