my pair are very early but there is no # anywhere visible. I made an update to the xover/tranny many years ago from QS&D in Virginia(?) but that's all I can remember about that except it's possibly the 1st update available.

The serial numbers should be stamped on to a plate affixed to the back grills. If you don't have those plates then there was a cross-over change changed made at one point in production - but if you don't have stock cross overs then you may not be able to tell if you are BC or AD (unless that was the mod that QS&D made). Have a look at Gary Jacobson's site that Kent linked in his reply, there is a lot of info there. And if your panels have never been rebuilt I recommend dropping Kent a line.

the back grills are long gone. The replacement back grills I had ordered years ago were different later ones. The transformers were updated by me with the factory instructions, also long ago.
Bass panels were not damaged (I also have 2 extra's) and treble panels replaced with 2 from QS&D.
oh well, guess I'll never know except that they are early production and still quite alive & well, and oh so good.
Cheers!
