Could I use a 6 ft. Pair of 16 gauge speaker wire with this speaker or use 12 gauge. Thanks for any info.

That would be an Apogee Minor.....and 'yes' is the answer to your query. Not a problem at all.
With a short (six foot) run of cable, you would see only a 0.05db difference between 16awg and 12awg cable. Completely in the mud and inaudible.
Dave.
But considering purchasing 12 gauge?
Then try an experiment using a double run of your 16 gauge to one speaker only vs a single run to one speaker only.
Looks like you have mono blocks.
See if you hear a difference, albeit it's only one speaker and set your pre to mono if you can.
If doing this experiment you'd probably want the mono block without a speaker connected to it turned off in the event it is unhappy without a load on it.
Cheers!

16 gauge i s marginal for a low sensitivity speaker so I would say try it out. If your bass comes out too light or loose then go for a heavier wire.
Certainly won't damage the speakers. I've run much more "current hungry" speakers from MUCH thinner solid core wire (think the inner conductor of cable tv wire - because that's exactly what it was) - and it worked out fine, though bass was a little flabby.
