Inspired by posters in another forum here is a picture of my Tympani IV-a
in their new larger 24 x 17 foot room. The survey question is bling or no bling?

looks great!
Elegant! They really do look nice in a large room. And I agree, for all their size, they're visually understated rather than blingy. Maybe you should order the new socks?

Here is a fabric one T IVa user was putting on his panels. This got approval from his WAF and sits proudly in their Singapore living room.
Years ago, my mother had some screens make to hide a freezer that she put in the dining room -- they really looked great. What Andy said about open weave, though!
Flowers can make your grille cloth blow up.
Though I hope the fabric is a very open weave.

I believe it is called summer silk and is a very light and thin fabric.
To a non-audiophile the panels just look like some dumb screens in an awkward position
Congrats on the gorgeous new room. Too bad those ugly panels take up the entire front view.
I love my TIVNeo8 but nothing sounding that great will ever win accolades for visual aesthetics.
Nicely set up with a contemporary , clean and functional feel .
I can imagine at night the lighting sets a fine stage for your enjoyment, when you open your eyes upon the playlists conclusion .
Bling , no IMO - Functionally sedate, clean and understated , yes .
Very nice in total .
Why , what did she say ;')
Thanks for the compliments although that was not my intent for this thread.
Neither I nor my wife would use " bling " and Magneplanar in the same sentence- even with the IVa side rails attached. Minimalist, understated, and exhibiting a mid-century modern vibe perhaps.
