Is Bedini BA801 or BA802 capable to drive stacked Quad ESL?
I am curious whether this amp able to tske such a low load impedance???
Follow Ups:
Bendini makes great amps- the issue w/ quads is max voltage - or a protection circuit - Not stock
The 801 is a 70 Watt/channel amp
and the 802 is a 150 Watt / channel amp
To me that seems like a lot of power for the '57s even stacked-
Happy Listening
Assume both Quad for stacking has zener board installed, can I put Bedini BA802 (150W) on it??
I think it shouldn't be any problem as the the speakers are being protected anyway.
Thanks!
If the 801 and 802 are anything like Bedini's 25/25, which is a well-known good amp for the QUAD ESL, they should be able to handle the speakers insane impedance swings (around 2 ohms at either very high or very low frequencies, I believe).
