Doesn't really matter.. I think Peter Walker said the appropriate type is kind that is long enough.
I used to stack my ESLs and use them in series with my Futterman- works well.
Now I only keep one set of refurbished ESLs and still keep the Futterman. Myths about its reliability are great exaggerated. It is one fine amp.
Have fun. I have move on to Beveridge line source electrostatics.. but the ESLs are still awesome.
Follow Ups:
Anyone kindly to pick one from the link that is adequate for the wiring (in parallel) of double Quad ESL 57?
Love my NYAL OTL3's They have given me years of service, but have needed some repairs,
and did catch fire once, probably because of thermal runaway in a tube. They make my Stax F83's, known as amp killers, sound glorious.
