John's bass playing was more that of a lead guitarist at times and Pete played rhythm. I got accustomed to a new drummer, but I got to ask if the major hole left when john died got filled?

And it isn't that their bass player is a slouch. Listening to them live there was a big gaping hole. I need to pick up their latest album and pursue that one further.
