A Mr Coffee TM75 2 qt ice tea maker. Sorely needed in this blistering heat wave we are having. I've made three batches of green tea with it so far. I'm not a fan of sugar or sweeteners so I'm working with and adjusting the concentrated lemon juice mix to smooth things out. 1/4 cup of lemon seems good for now. Next trip to the supermarket I'll get some fresh lemons / limes to add.
I must have hit it just right as I found a black one on Thursday at wallyworld for $26+change.
It sucks to get old. It really sucks to get old and bitter.

Buy some Cold brew tea from Red Seal or similar.
Place 2-4 teabags in a pitcher with purified water.
Put ice in a glass - pour tea.
All kinds of flavours - no sugar or caffeine and just sweet enough that you probably won't feel the need to add sugar.
See if this is in your town. I like 'Blood Orange' and 'Strawberry & Rhubarb' so far but not tried them all.
you can have the same thing when you put a pot of water on the stove add some tea bags and a pitcher to put it in and add as much ice as want.
if you really wanted to, you could get a glass pitcher , fill it water and tea bags and put it outside and make sun tea.
I used to work with a bunch of Japanese guys who swore to the benefits of green tea, way before science backed their position.
I once had the pleasure to be in Sri Lanka, and still miss one particular variety of tea I found there.
My biggest disappointment with tea was when I was in the south and ordered , as was my custom back then, tea with my meal. Only then did I learn of a plague on the earth called, sweet tea.
Holy god, how do people drink that stuff. I used to drink kool aid when I was a kid, but grew out of it.
:)
all the best,

I've probably brewed 500 pitchers with it, as well as descaling it for her.
I drink iced tea just about everyday of the year and I just use a proper tea kettle to make it, but the Mr. Coffee is better because you can drink it right away.

...I was just thinking about one of those last week. My ex-wife decided she wanted one for her birthday years ago, so I got one for her.
Only she never used it. I did. And I loved the goddamned thing!
Use a shit ton of ice cubes but so what? It made great tea.
One of my favorites was iced Celestial Seasoning's Orange Mandarin Spice.
The blissful counterstroke-a considerable new message.
