I had Oscars. They will eat any other fish in the tank not bigger than them.

A friend had aquariums and introduced a small Oscar, and immediately lost half of his other aquatic population in a matter of days.

snake 'personalities' are feeding characteristics of the different species
the perception of 'feelings' in lower order creatures are human projection of their own onto them aka anthropomorphism. it's been thoroughly and scientifically explored
