utter nonsense. Rittenhouse shot people who were actively attacking him and nobody else. "reasonably believe they were chasing a murderer" isn't justification for attacking someone. What if someone shouted he raped a white woman? Can they lynch him?
Follow Ups:
The man shot someone and ran away. Normally folks who go after someone who does such a thing are considered heroes. But apparently not in this case. This is what happens when a childlike 17 year old buys a gun illegally and who worked for a week as a lifeguard and was involved in some fireman sponsored children's program anoints himself a medic and a Law Enforcement Officer.
Let's hope members of that militia group, the business that permitted them on his property, Rittenhouse's family and the family that facilitated his purchase and storage of the gun get taken to the cleaners with civil suits.
I agree though the whole thing is utter nonsense. Responsible gun owners are embarrassed by this kind of outcome.

I've posted this (in this thread)--as a responsible and legal gun-owner, I was appalled when the weapons charges were dropped. AND I'd have charged his mother as an accessory to all of his alleged crimes.
"So I talk to the night, I head for the light, try and hold it on the road. Thank God for the man who put
the white lines on the highway"--a very dear friend for decades Michael Stanley (Gee)--RIP
So idiotic. Grosskreutz should have to reimburse Rittenhouse for the price of a round of .223. Self-defense is legal, sorry.
