@ a Gelson's... Probably double the cost of Costco....
Follow Ups:
We have a meat market over in Carlsbad run by a 90 year old German.
Great stuff and where I go to get SAUSAGE in Mild and Spicy when it's time to make Pizza on the BBQ......
Too much is never enough
From the outlet stores? I've been there a few times.. My wife likes it because they have international foods. I'll have to remember about the sausages next time we are down there...
And next to the Pacific Sales......
Also? Across the street is the FORMER locaiton of Hadley's.......for those who remember the 'dawn' of the whole foods / health market craze. Now only ONE remains, out in Cabazon, if that.
Too much is never enough
They have another location out by my SIL in Calimesa but it doesn't have near the selection of international foods that Carlsbad has... I will have to check out the meat counter by my SIL for the sausage assortment. We go to Hadley's in Cabazon every now and then.... Their Trail mix is the absolute best I have ever had! I've been going there so long that when I first started going back in the 70's the big tub of trail mix was around $4.00 - $5.00... NOW it is almost $20.00! SO good though!!!
I'd drop by for a Date Shake!
I think they had 3 locations at one time, but Carlsbad, near the Ocean off Palomar Airport Road is LONG GONE....
Used to be a Mexican Fast Food place there which served the BEST Burrito ever. I would apply a coating of ALOE around my mouth / lips prior to eating.
Too much is never enough
The burrito I'd probably pass on too as I don't do overly spicy. It has always made me laugh when I see people order Indian food spicy and then sit there as the sweat rolls down their face into their food! DISGUSTING! Thai, Indian and Mexican I ALWAYS order with mild spices.....
