NOT other people. Again, people have to do what they think is appropriate for themselves. Vaccines are elective NOT mandatory. I'm only getting it to placate her...
had bid, in error.
Right.
So believable, huh?

Or that it does not exist? What's your belief? It's not just you; something is driving this mindset.
What's the thinking here?
and you have underlying health issues you probably need to exercise EXTREME caution in your daily life against Covid 19... Otherwise, if you have an uncompromised immune system and are in good health, you can go about your daily life exercising the safety protocols. You may or may not have noticed that you haven't heard much in the MSM about the usual yearly epidemic of influenza. This is because many of these deaths are instead being attributed to Covid instead of influenza. Why? It's ALL about the money pure and simple...
...wrong in your supposition that CV deaths are overcounted.

what they consider to be the right course for themselves... I am cautious and not reckless. Those that place themselves in dangerous situations (like the people that insist on drinking in bars and hooting and hollering over televised games) are asking for trouble IMO. I have still seen my family during the pandemic and will continue to do so... Even my cardiologist mentioned to me recently that people that are outdoors should have little to no concern IF they are practicing safety protocols.... I laugh when I see these morons driving in their cars (alone) with a mask on...Who do they think is going to give them the virus? The car's A/C?!?!?!?! People are just paranoid and stupid sometimes....
I went to a local coffee drive up window. I'm in my car, 4-5 ft from the inside barista who was behind a plexiglass window, wearing a mask (several other workers inside), with a tiny coffee-passing slot at the bottom. Fans blowing inside to ventilate and pass heat. Card machine outside the window; no cash transactions. No touchy-feely.
Next time I drove up, they were demanding that car occupants also wear masks during transaction. It's their call, but the overkill made me furious. Lots of coffee elsewhere.
Trust me. I'm going as nuts as everybody else.
If not--- and that's the safe distance WEARING a mask, what are you complaining about? They're just following Dr. Fauci and leading scientists' recommendations.
It would apply the same.

I went to a local drive-in to pickup food a couple of weeks ago and the dining room was STILL not open (in spite of the "lift" on restrictions) for business. The drive-thru causes traffic jams due to spilling over into the public streets. When I asked why they haven't opened up their walk-up and indoor dining, I was told the owners haven't felt the need to do so... I won't be eating there again, IF ever!
so what's the problem? They have the right to keep the dining area closed, you have the right to boycott them.
Our favorite Chinese restaurants have smartly kept their dining areas closed and we
still support them.Their right, our choice.

Wrong again Sherlock.
There were minimal flu outbreaks this year because people were wearing masks and social distancing because of covid.
Also, who is making money from exaggerating Covid death numbers?
.
Freak out...Far out...In out....
Read and consider yourself informed.....
any documentation, also said, "Jensen said he thinks the overall number of COVID-19 cases have been UNDERCOUNTED (my emphasis) based on limitations in the number of tests available."
The extra payment mentioned in the cite is 20%, according to regulations.
This is a problem with Medicare and the regulations that allow payment for likely cases of Covid-19 not require laboratory confirmed cases like listed by many States.
You would need to break the results down, comparing number of Covid cases v. number of influences cases by State in order to see how much influence the reporting standard is having on the results.
This would reveal if adjustments in reporting standards are needed.
I'm not so sure why the CDC allowing listing of likely cases would require Medicaid to pay for cases not supported by some type of lab testing. These seem like 2 different things.
I can't remember the last winter that I didn't pick up some kind of cold or flu bug. This winter - nada. I might continue the mask wearing, social distancing and incessant hand-washing in the flu seasons to come (and for every Wal-Mart run).
