First off, I don't own, nor ever would own, an S2000. Not because it's not a cool car, but because it's not my "cup of tea". Regarding tires, I used to ALWAYS run Michelins on my vehicles. As I grew older and wiser, I decided that there MUST be other great tires in the market. Now, I'm running Continental tires on my vehicles.Aside - just the other day, I saw a yellow M-B that could have been the S2000's twin brother!

Got Michelin, Pilot Super Sport A/S 3+My Miata lives outside and I drive year around. Summer tires that can't take less than 40 degrees F are no good for me. I also looked at the Continental DWS 06. Costco came through with $150 off the Pilot's so I went with them. Very good grip, nice ride and confidence. Have not ran them in the rain yet.
If you can do summer tires, folks like the Michelin PSS 4 or Firehawk Indy 500. Enjoy spring driving.

I've had a bad experience with Michelin tires - had to replace a set of all seasons that came with our truck at less than 10k miles - they were rated for at least 3x that, and it mostly sat around as we don't drive it (14mpg...). Switched over to Continentals and couldn't be happier. YMMV.
Nice tire! G2
