...your kiddo put on his Bay-Em-Vay. Got a model number?
Much obliged.

When I saw your Uniroyal post last week, which coincided with our rainstorms and the Subaru doing Disney On Ice, I had a look at them. Some favorable reviews but more than a few panning wet traction and ride comfort.
I'm leaning toward Subaru Owners Forum rec Yokohama Avid TRZ on Tirerack - $76.00 for 215-60-16.

were put on the two vehicles in question.... There are other Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring tires. I believe one of the reviews was for a Subaru... Not sure what you have. I do have experience with the Yokohama Avid Ascend GT tires (would have been my second choice).... Had them on my old Nissan Versa hatchback... They are great wearing tires, but IMO not the same ride quality as the Uniroyal. AFAIC the Uniroyal is a no-brainer.... IF you don't like the ride, take them back... Uniroyal guarantees that you will like them...

The company that installed them on my Son's car... Don't see a "model #" but they have a part number listed... Hope that helps!
My truck will be needing new tires before too long. It came with BF Goodrich and they're been great. With about 40K miles on them, they still look to have another 5-10K miles. I checked out their website and that tire has a 65K warranty, so I guess why I don't need tires yet. Of course, they also cost $192 each.
The Tiger Paws are only $140 and also have a 65K warranty. Based on the specs, the only difference is the Tire UTQG 740 A B vs 600 A A for the Paws. It looks like I'll be saving $150 on a new set.

...your truck should have a higher weight class/load rating than a standard passenger car tire typically would. That could account for the substantial price difference. You could probably get away with a standard passenger car tire, unless you actually tried to do any hauling/towing. With the heavier curb weight of the truck vs a car, they will probably wear much more rapidly, as well.

the white lines on the highway"--a very dear friend for decades Michael Stanley (Gee)--RIP
I checked, both the manufacturer supplied BF Goodrich and the Paws have the same load rating for a light truck or SUV which is what I have.

transformational on the two vehicles (2016 Mini Cooper S & 1995 BMW 318ti) that I have put them on... Both my son and SIL couldn't be happier! BTW, this is the video that I saw on YouTube that piqued my interest in the Tiger Paw tire.....

Local tire store has 'em to fit my shitbox Chevy. $104 each.
Thanks.

ride comfort guarantee on those tires... If you don't like them within 30 days, take em back and get something else...
and a Mastercraft touring A/S that costs about the same. Mastercraft is made by Cooper.
