The engine is mounted in a different place, just to start with one of the more subtle changes. ;)

Interesting. The actual new Corvette, the C8, is one of my favorite ever made. The C7 is at the bottom somewhere...
otherwise... I don't think they're likely to be mistaken for one another.
Something about that engine placement thing...

You CAN'T SEE the engine....so must rely on other 'cues'.
New, when I NOW SEE 'em A/B has a MUch lower hoodline. And due to configuration, those Side Scoops must be functional....another plus.
I TEND to prefer the new one, but I'm not all that wrapped up in this. No 'dog' in fight.....

Drives more like one too--much more balanced car. I've owned Vettes, the last one being a 2016 ZO6, currently own two Ferraris, 1990 Testarossa and 2004 360 Spider, and have had the opportunity to "flog" one of the new 2020 C8 Vettes. The C8 is NOT your Dad's "classic" Vette.
