In Reply to: RE: Did it make you anti-Asian or anti-Kitty Kat? posted by B. Scarpia on February 22, 2021 at 04:59:04
The head of radiology where my wife worked was Asian. I liked him, his wife and his kids. I have flown with many Vietnamese helicopter pilots, and they were all cool. These are the only Asians I have known. My opinion of Asians is based on these people and my experiences were all good.
I have liked most cats that I have met. Maybe I'm more influenced by my actual experiences than Disney movies.
I don't like coyotes, but it's not about Roadrunner cartoons. It's about the fact that they have killed eight cats and dogs in my neighborhood.
Follow Ups:
As a retired retail manager, I've dealt with countless Asian customers through-out the span of my career.... As a general rule they are over-demanding, would sell their children for a discount and are sneaky by nature (tag switching). The men are nicer generally than the women and most of the women are vain, subservient and dumber than a box of rocks. The older ones ALWAYS try and dress to compete with their teenage daughters.... One of the cats that I loved was part siamese and was really more like a dog than a cat. The feral cat we have now has NEVER been friendly and it's stupid. I laughed at your comment, "I don't like coyotes".... Then you would HATE my dog! If I had a dollar for every time someone calls him a coyote, I'd be a rich man! He really looks more like a jackel than a coyote but certainly a wild dog... He's a love, and I thank my lucky stars every day that I found him at an adoption clinic 8 years ago now! He's a treasure to be certain! Photo of my Milo attached....
We had a neighbor who had a pair of hairless dogs. Once you get past their looks, they are still dogs which is a good thing. We have had cats and dogs. I prefer dogs. Milo looks very alert and attuned to the person taking the picture.
We're convinced that he is at least part Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican hairless dog) or Xolo (pronounced show-lo) if not 100% pure bred. We have a neighbor that has one (standard size) and Milo looks identical with the exception of his size and his crazy hair. His personality traits when compared to the breed are spot on. Milo even stands like the pure bred dogs (see attached pic). We keep meaning to get him tested to find out, but just have not got around to it. Like I said though, he is a love bug and devoted to his Mom and Dad......
We had a rescue named Jamie that we intended to get tested, but never got around to it. She passed away two years ago. She was a sweet heart. Everybody commented on her ears and asked what she was. We knew that she as part poodle, but the rest was a mystery.
who is all the rage on the internet... Nicknamed the Mickey Mouse dog!
The ears are similar.
