The cheaper the booze the worse the hangover.
The problem is not that there is evil in the world, the problem is that there is good. Because otherwise, who would care?
Did you ever drink Ripple in college? Holy crap! And cheap sherry - I still remember one evening we drank a bunch of it in the dorm (a big no-no), and then went ice skating. Cold? What cold? In February in Green Bay? Nah! The next day was a different story, though.
On the other hand, when I (rarely) buy vodka, I buy McCormick. In Dallas, it's about $6.79 for a liter at the right stores. An inlaw buys vodka regularly, and he buys UV or other similarly priced stuff. Frankly, I don't taste much difference, other than the UV barely has any taste. 'Course, he drinks it straight, whereas I mix mine.
Cheap food can be good. Taco Casa is great.
