You can't break the bicycle down into shipping box size? And ship FedEx?
You going to bike around Glacier National Park? That should be an awesome trip!

Yes, the bicycle will be "broken down" but hopefully not broken :-)
Shipping my Litespeed, not my carbon bike, so it is a little more durable.
I have the Serfas shipping container and will be removing handlebars, pedals, and wheels, and doing all of that but my question was to find out what shipper you folks have had good luck with....both economical and reliable.
To your second question, I will be riding the lowlands around the park area and probably trips to Flathead lake. I have thought about the GTTS Road night ride but probably not this trip - I just checked and the road is still not fully open (hopefully the snow melts over the next 2 weeks). My excuse for bringing a bike is to keep my legs fresh the week before RAGBRAI - but I am actually more worried about my liver on the Iowa ride. We will be up in the park for hiking and I believe one day of whitewater rafting. Our niece and nephew met while they both worked in the park and they now work/live in Kalispell, so they are the perfect tour guides as well as awesome hosts. We go about every two years and I expect it will be another great trip.
Always wanted to go back to Flathead Lake. It's spectacular. On a bike I bet, even better.
Have a great time!
